Managing Your Account

Your Black Forest Labs account gives you access to our image generation and editing models. Here's how to manage it.

Creating an Account

  1. Go to dashboard.bfl.ai and click "Login"

  2. Click "Don't have an account? Register"

  3. Fill in your details (email and password, or sign in with Google)

  4. Verify your email address via the link sent to your inbox

A Default Organization and Default Project are created automatically when you sign up.

Organizations & Projects

Your account is structured around Organizations and Projects:

  • Organizations manage teams, billing, and credits (shared across all projects)

  • Projects are workspaces with their own API keys and usage tracking

You can create multiple organizations (up to 10) and multiple projects per organization (up to 25 active). This lets you separate environments (production, staging, development) or teams.

API Keys

API keys are scoped to projects. To create one:

  1. Navigate to your project in the dashboard

  2. Go to "API Keys"

  3. Click "Add Key" and name it (e.g., "Production", "Development")

  4. Copy and store it securely — it won't be shown again

You can create up to 50 API keys per project. Revoke keys you no longer need from the same page.

Account Settings

  • Change password: Go to Account Settings in the dashboard

  • Delete account: Go to Account Settings and click "Delete Account". This is permanent.
